Weekend translation

“Drive to the coast out of season”…

me
me

There is no specific season in “out of season” here.
In Japan, people go to the beach only in the summer.
So “out of season” actually refers to spring, autumn, or winter.

“No one knows, but our own rainbow falls on us”

me
me

There is a rainbow in the sky that only they know about.

teacher
teacher

“No one knows, but our own rainbow follows us”
or
“No one else can see a private rainbow on you and me”

“A few moments of silence is like a play of love between us”

“Who will speak next? Is it her? Or me?”
He enjoys the silence between conversations.

teacher

Which one is this “play”?
Game? Or is it theater?

me
me

Uh, I intended it as “game.”

teacher
teacher

“A silent game of love, each moment passing by”

“Hold our breath, close our eyes
It’s the beginning of a journey unlike usual”…

me
me

He plans to make it a different kind of date by coming to an empty beach and saying less than usual.

teacher
teacher

More poetic, “It’s the beginning of a journey unlike any other”

Surréalisme)=

“Like the wind that gently embraces you,
like the stars that protect you,
I will hug you closely through every moment”…

teacher
teacher

“I will embrace you through every moment”

“Silence comes in casual conversation
I enjoy this precious time”…
I would change them slightly. Because a lot of times in English, when we’re talking about silence in a conversation, that tends to be a negative thing. It tends to be that their relationship is falling apart.
“Comfortable silence between casual conversation” would be better.

“When we hold hands, the world seems to move in slow motion
With your slender fingers gripping mine,
our dream becomes even bigger”…
Oh, beautiful!

me
me

He has a dream he wants to fulfill.
Knowing her warm feelings for him gives him more confidence in achieving his dream with her.

“The tenderness that surrounds you
The strength that protects you
I want to keep delivering these to you for years to come”…
Change it, like… “I want to keep on delivering this for years to come”

me
me

Ah, I put a few words “The tenderness” and “The strength” so I used the plural “these“, but why is it “this” here?

teacher
teacher

Yeah, absolutely. Very, very good point.

teacher
teacher

So the main reason for this is poetry.
This is slightly more poetic than “these” just for the sound of the words.
But also, this implies that there’s more on the list. Like, so… “I want to give you everything” like… “I want to give you tenderness, I want to give you strength, I want to give you hope.” like…all of this is wonderful.

teacher
teacher

And so, this becomes a pronoun for a group now.
It’s like there are so many things.
Mostly because it’s more poetic that way.

“I will hug you warmly, filling every day with smiles”

me
me

He hopes to multiply the smiles on their face every day from now on.

teacher
teacher

And then the same thing.
“I will hold you forever. Feeling every day with smiles” like that.

UNSEASONABLE BEACH
Drive to the coast out of season
No one knows, but our own rainbow follows us

A silent game of love, each moment passing by
Hold our breath, close our eyes
It’s the beginning of a journey unlike any other

Like the wind that gently embraces you
Like the stars that protect you
I will embrace you through every moment

Comfortable silence between casual conversation
When we hold hands,
the world seems to move in slow motion
With your slender fingers gripping mine,
our dream becomes even bigger

The tenderness that surrounds you
The strength that protects you
