Just as a note if I was writing this as an article, I would put the “at one time or another”, I would put it at the end of this sentence. It’s very common to say for example. “We have all been in a situation at one time or another that was so painful.” How it is here is not incorrect, but I just thought I would point out that the order of the sentence structure.
歌詞ではなくアーティクルを書くなら、「一度はある」を文末に持ってきます。「誰だってそんな場面に追い込まれること一度はある、泣きたくなるような場面に。」とね。えっと、あなたの文は間違っていないよ。文の組み立ての順序を指摘しただけです。

I do writing copyrights for companies and it’s a very different style of writing, it’s for marketing purposes. I realise that I have to switch my mindset from a marketing thing style of writing to something more poetic… I’m trying to adjust.

we can say “the melody…” could be something like this, “The melody that I once graced the skies with, now seamlessly departs my lips.” Very dramatic in a way. The reason why using “grace” is that it’s kind of like he was singing to the sky and he was honoring the sky with his words on his… you know his melody and his song. But now it’s seamlessly flows from his mouth on his lips.
「空に向かって口ずさんだメロディ」のところは「あのとき空を飾ったメロディが今唇から溢れ出ていく」とか。とてもドラマティックな感じで。

Actually writing is actually not easy at all because It happens sometimes also in storytelling when you write articles when you read blog posts online. It’s interesting to see the style of the writing because you need to have a very good command of the English language to be able to use words typically.
I’m not used in that context but you can use them in a more creative way.

Sometimes it can be. That is actually a very typical expression and it is used quite often only if you’re having a deep conversation with someone. If you’re having a conversation about life and Philosophy and maybe challenges or maybe if you’re giving advice to somebody, you would use it.
時々ね。誰かと深い話をするときに使うよ。人生や哲学について、そして挑戦について…そしてだれかにアドバイスをあげるときとか。

「人生は長く曲がりくねった道をたどるもの」
「人生の長く曲がりくねった道は終わらない」
「山の上の長くて曲がりくねった道は、人生の挑戦を響かせる。」とか。

“Many avoid sidestepping the winding turns of life.”
「目立たぬように転ばぬように…」のところは
「みんな人生の回り道を避けていく」とかね。

“I don’t want to live like those people.”

「そんな大人になりたくはない」は
「僕はどんな形の人生も受け入れる。」とかね。
